The journey of Errand Runners Unlimited began with a deeply personal experience. For many years, I was a caregiver for a loved one, which ignited a profound passion for helping others. This passion led me to join the home care industry, where I worked from 2017 to 2022, gaining experience in every aspect of running a home care agency.
Among all the roles I took on, scheduling became my specialty. It wasn’t just about assigning shifts—it was about connecting people, matching personalities, and aligning skill sets to meet specific needs. I loved it, and it came so naturally to me.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I witnessed the struggles of the home care industry on a national scale. Gaps in care became glaringly obvious, especially for clients who didn’t require long hours of assistance but were forced to commit to more than they needed. It was clear that the industry needed a change—a service that could meet people where they were, without unnecessary restrictions.
That’s when the idea for Errand Runners Unlimited was born. I envisioned a company that put clients in control, offering flexible, all-in-one services tailored to their unique needs. Whether it’s home care, house cleaning, or errand running, we wanted to create a solution that eliminated the need for hiring multiple providers.
After months of planning and building systems to make this dream a reality, we officially launched in May 2022. Since then, the response has been incredible. Our services have become the answer to so many people’s everyday challenges, regardless of age or background. We are proud to help our clients live easier, more fulfilling lives while continuing to grow and reach more people in need.
